Spieljoch - the first ski resort in the Ziller Valley. Spieljoch boasts the longest valley run in the Zillertal. It is truly a joy to ski this picturesque run to the valley below.
The Spieljoch ski area at the northern entrance to the Ziller Valley includes altitude between 650 and 2054 metres. The brand new 10 person gondola takes you to the mountain station where you can start to appreciate the stunning panorama and most importantly the beautifully prepared and groomed slopes.
There is a modern 6 man chair lift, traditional, 3 man chair lift, 2 drag lifts plus the new Panorama gondola which enjoys magnificent views and will take you to the southern slope (a black run) with the most romantic traditional mountain hutte Geolsalm.
In addition there is a ski school area, a beginners area and funny slope. This is a truly typical, cosy and friendly ski area ideal for solo skiers, couples, groups and families.
All in all, 17kms of ski pistes and 3.5kms of ski routes.
There is a free shuttle bus from the base of Panorama gondola which takes you to the neighbouring resort of Hochfügen (10 minutes ride). Alternatively you can get free shuttle bus from the base of Spieljoch direct to Hochfügen (20 minutes).
